2. Open the Divi Builder and Select Your Image

Whether working on an existing page or creating a page from scratch, the upscaling process with Divi AI is the same. You will edit your image, use the Divi AI upscale command, and then Divi AI will automatically re-insert your image in the same place. Let’s go over how to do that now with a brand-new page in WordPress. From the WordPress dashboard, hover over the Pages menu link. Then, click Add New. This will create a new page for us.

Name your page, then click the purple Use Divi Builder button.

From the three options presented, choose the first choice. Click the blue button that says Start Building, and now, you have a blank slate for upscaling your images.

Divi will automatically create a new section for you in the builder. However, you’ll need to add a new row. Click the two-column row layout from the row modal box to do this.

Next, enter the word “image” into the search box for the Module modal box. Click on the Image Module to add it to the first column in your newly added row.

With our Image Module in place, let’s upload an image from our hard drive to WordPress and upscale it. Inside the Image Module, click the gear icon. This is where the Media Library will open up. You can select an existing photo from your library or upload a new one. We’re going to select an image that’s already in our Media Library.

Once you’ve selected your image, please take note of its dimensions and file size. We’ll use this information later to compare the effects of upscaling images in WordPress with Divi AI. Finally, click the Upload an Image button to add your image to your page. Now, we can run the image upscaler present in Divi AI.

3. Upscale Your Images in WordPress with Divi AI

Once our image has been selected in the Divi Image Module, we can activate Divi AI. Click on the Divi AI icon next to the image’s settings icon.

Then select the Upscale feature. Finally, choose between the 2x and 4x options for your upscaling.

The beauty of using Divi AI for your WordPress upscaling needs is that you never have to leave the WordPress dashboard. There’s no need to open a program on your desktop or visit an external website to upscale your image. You can upscale your image within the Divi Builder without requiring additional tools or downloads.

After a short wait, you’ll notice that your page looks the same. But is it? Let’s take a deeper look.

4. Comparing Our Original and Upscaled Images

Click the gear icon to access the Media Library and see what Divi AI has done under the hood.

The first thing we notice is that our original image has been duplicated. Divi AI is smart enough to back up our image before performing upscaling tasks. Next, when we click on our new upscaled image, we notice that its dimensions have changed. It’s now almost double in size, which aligns with the 2x upscaling option we selected in Divi AI. However, its file size is still manageable and light.

Furthermore, if you compare both images, you can see a noticeable difference in the quality of our upscaled image.

Our upscaled image is sharper, and the colors in our new photo are more vibrant. Not only does the Divi AI increase the dimensions while maintaining the quality of our upscaled images, but it also refines them. Let’s look at the new statistics of our images from the Media Gallery.

Our original image was 510px by 335px. It was also 178kb. While still a light image, our upscaling can help us be more optimized. Divi AI was able to not only almost double the size of our image but it was also able to compress the image without decreasing the quality of the image.

Additionally, when you look at the image in the Divi Builder, even though the size of the image has changed, its quality has increased alongside the change in dimensions:

Image 1 is our new and improved image, and image 2 is our original image. Both of these images are within a one-column row layout in Divi. We can see that image 1 is larger. However, when you look closer, you can see that the image is sharper, the colors are more precise (notice the hair and nails), and the skin on the model has improved. Even though the original image is smaller, it is still not as straightforward as our upscaled image.

This gives us better images overall for our web pages without leaving the WordPress backend or using external tools. It’s clear that when you choose to use Divi AI as your WordPress image upscaler, you will get fast, easy, and excellent results for the photos and images on your website.

We’ll spend most of our time in this article seeing how three AI tools, in particular, can help WordPress site owners with their SEO efforts. These are Semrush, Divi AI, and Rank Math SEO.

First, let’s see how Semrush’s various tools can help set us up for success.

1. Outline and Keyword Research with Semrush

Semrush is a comprehensive suite that aids SEO research, especially for WordPress sites. Its free Content Outline tool is a standout feature that helps you organize and optimize your keywords and ideas. Learn more about their AI Content Outline Builder.

How to Use the Semrush AI Outline Builder

Semrush’s Outline Builder is the easiest-to-use AI tool by Semrush. You can use it and share up to three outlines for free. To get started, provide a topic you want to cover. We’re building a homepage for a boat tour business in Maine. We’ve tested this tool with blog articles, homepages, and landing pagesâ€”it performs well in each case. Click “Create Outline.”

The first major aspect of the outline builder is the SEO Title. You have three options:
1. Write your own title
2. Use AI suggestion (recommended)
3. See competitor titles that are ranking in the SERPs (excellent for research)
In our case, we liked the AI’s first suggestion. When you’ve found yours, click “+ Use this title.”

Next, your options for article description mirror those for the title: write your own, draw inspiration from competitors, or adopt an AI suggestion. Feel free to start with an AI-suggested description and modify it to align with your vision.

Next, it will give you basic keyword recommendations, but using Semrush’s Keyword Overview tool is best, which we’ll touch on in a moment.

The last major step is actually building your page outline. This section lists AI-suggested and competitor headings/questions based on your topic. Include the ones you want by dragging them over to your outline. You can even add your own using the “+ Add subheading/heading” button on the left. This table of contents section is excellent for structuring your page, whether it’s a landing page or a blog article.

Finally, when satisfied, click “Preview” to see the finalized outline.

There are more options, but we’ve found that those are less helpful. If you want, you can explore AI-gathered “facts” that you can use in your articles and see what images competitors are using.

How to Use Semrush for Basic Keyword Research

Semrush is better known as a robust research tool to help you find content gaps and trends, explore search volumes, and track SERP rankings.

Start your keyword research by entering the keyword you want to analyze into the search bar. Select the target region you want to focus on. Click “Search,” and Semrush will take you to the Keyword Overview page for that keyword.

Detailed information about the selected keyword is on the Keyword Overview page. This includes an analysis of organic search volume, keyword difficulty, search trend graph, search intent, and cost-per-click. This information helps you assess the keyword’s potential for your content and advertising strategies.

Further down the Keyword Overview page, you’ll see additional insights such as keyword variations, related questions to your keywords, and potential keyword clusters (paid). These details allow you to explore variations and related terms.

Semrush’s paid tool gives you even more powerful tools to look up keyword information. It can also help you track published pages and how they are performing.

2. Using Divi AI for Faster Website Creation

Now that we have an AI-generated content outline and keywords for our page, we’ll use Divi to build it out. Fortunately, we have Divi AI, which will play a vital role in creating images and keyword-rich content.

Make sure to set up a WordPress site and install Divi. For our example, we created a page and used the Sightseeing Tours layout pack to get us started. This will be the base we will iterate from for maximum design speed. One last step that we’ll do before using Divi AI is pasting in our headings from the Semrush Outline Builder. The outline we created with it is great, and it is easy to add section headings to our premade layout. This saves us from designing from a blank page.

Generating Images with Divi AI

We want to change the picture in our hero section (and other sections of the layout). To use Divi AI to generate images, open the image module, go to the background image, select the “AI” icon, and then “Generate With AI.”

Fill in the Divi AI image generation parameters. Learn more about creating images with Divi AI. Here’s what we choose:

Divi AI did an excellent job creating images. We could refine or generate more images like these, but we liked image #3. Click “Use This Image” to add it to the module.

We went ahead and repeated the steps for all the images on the page.

Generating SEO Content with Divi AI

Now that we’ve created a new image for the page, we can move on to generating website copy. The layout had some placeholder text that we want to use Divi AI to replace. To do this, open the text module, click the “AI” icon, and select “Write With AI.”

Much like Divi AI’s image generation, we need to tell it what content we want to create. Give a description and set other parameters to your liking. You can even prompt Divi AI to include all the keywords you need for a block of content. When ready, click “Generate Text.”

Divi AI came up with some text for this text module, and it’s very close to what we need. Clicking “Use This Text” adds it to the module, where we can edit it to our liking.

If you want to run Divi AI again, you can either “Retry,” use a quick action (i.e., Shorten), or “Refine Result.”

By simply using a premade layout pack, Divi AI, and our Semrush outline, we created an entire homepage in 15 minutes. Best of all, it is ready to run through Rank Math!

Here’s the hero section we made with the help of Divi AI’s image-generation capabilities:

Moving down a section, this is our second heading based on the Semrush outline. Divi AI handled the image creation plus the paragraph of the sales copy.

Doing this for each section in our content outline is a breeze. Semrush gave us the structure of our page content, and Divi AI created each piece of it. You could do the same exact steps for either a landing page or a blog article. See our detailed guide to using Divi AI for blog article writing.

3. Improve On-Page SEO with Rank Math

Rank Math is the go-to for setting up a site with proper SEOâ€”page by page. Rank Math’s AI and NPL-powered content scoring can use data straight from the SERPs to analyze each page of content you create. It has a pro version that helps more with Keyword planning, but we’ll look at how the free version can help with editing content for SEO quality.

To get started, click the Rank Math icon on the bottom center of the screen.

Quick actions do not require you to create a description prompt for Divi AI to edit your text. Simply select the action, and the AI will get to work. You can also select “Retry” if you want Divi AI to reprocess the request or one of the quick actions to modify the result further.

Step 3: Optimizing Copy with Divi AI

Divi AI lets you improve previously written textâ€”whether you wrote it yourself or had AI create an initial draft. With an active text module (we’ll move down our page to a larger block of text), hover inside the text area and click the “AI” icon to reveal the available text options. Then, click “Improve with AI.” This will take the content already in the module and help us optimize it with AI.

We will begin building our website by creating a simple outline in ChatGPT. To do this, navigate to ChatGPT. Next, enter the prompt, “Make a concise list of the pages an email marketing agency’s website should have?”.

ChatGPT gives us a list of eight pages we can create for our website in our first prompt. We can even go a step further and ask ChatGPT to outline what each page should contain as well:

Notice how in-depth ChatGPT’s AI was able to get when planning out the content and function of each page. We can use these to our advantage when building our pages, choosing modules, and creating the content for each page. We will be creating a five-page website for our fictional email marketing agency with the following pages:
- Home
- About Us
- Services
- Portfolio and
- Contact Us
With our outline, we now move into the website-building phase.

2. Setup Your WordPress Website

Some prerequisites must be met before we enter the new and exciting world of AI-powered WordPress web design. First, you’ll need to register a domain name for your site. A good domain name provider is NameCheap, but there are many domain name providers for you to choose from.

Installing Divi + Divi AI

Before you can use Divi, you’ll need to subscribe for a membership. Then you can download the theme or plugin from the members area.

Divi AI is already integrated with Divi, so you won’t need to download anything else. You can use Divi AI for free with a limited trial period, but you can easily upgrade when that time comes.

Once you download Divi, you can install it like you would any other WordPress theme in the WordPress Dashboard. For more details, you can follow this guide. After Divi is installed, we can start creating our website and creating content for our website.

4. Add Site Title and Tagline for Divi AI

Setting your site title and tagline in WordPress is an essential first step in training Divi AI. By doing this, you are giving Divi AI more context about your website. This will help better inform Divi AI as you seek to create content, generate images, and more while building your WordPress website.

To begin, let’s assign a site name and tagline. From your WordPress dashboard, hover over the Settings menu item. Then, click General from the flyout menu.

From there, give your site a title and tagline. You can also add your site languages, set your admin email, and more here. Once completed, click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

With this in place, we can start building our website’s pages.

5. Create Your First Page with Divi AI

Equipped with our page names in hand from ChatGPT, we will now start creating the blank pages of our website. Hover over the Pages menu. Then, click on the Add New text link.

Next, enter the name for your page, in this case, Home. Finally, click the blue Publish button at the top right-hand side of the screen.

Repeat this process for the other pages within your website’s sitemap.

Install Layout from Layout Library

Now that all our pages are created, we are ready to add our first premade Divi layout to the home page. Navigate to the home page we created again, hovering over the Pages menu item. Then, click on the All Pages link. You’ll be presented with our list of new pages for our website. A text link menu appears when you hover over the Home page’s row. Click on the Edit with Divi text link to activate the Divi Builder.

We are now presented with three options. We will select the second option, Choose a Premade Layout, by clicking the purple button that says Browse Layouts.

In addition to being a powerful AI tool for WordPress, Divi comes with an ever-growing collection of premade templates and layouts that you can use for various sectors. In the search box, enter the search term email marketing. Then, select and install the Email Marketing Home Page Layout.

Finally, select the blue Use this Layout button to begin the installation process. Deselect the Import Presets modal box that pops up.

To complete our layout installation process, save the page by clicking the green Save button in the bottom right-hand corner.

You can repeat this process for the other pages of your website, using the pre-created layouts – provided for free by Divi – to create a sleek and professional website for your agency.

6. Start Creating Website Copy with Divi AI

Though the layouts come with design, the copy included is boilerplate and repetitive. However, it gives us a good starting point to use AI to create better content. We’ll start by creating new titles for the various sections of our homepage. First, let’s start with the hero section:

With Divi AI, let’s create a different headline with a casual, down-to-earth tone. First, click the gear icon on the Text Module containing our hero section’s title.

Next, click the new blue Auto Generate Text with AI button, activating Divi AI within the Visual Builder.

Immediately, Divi AI can provide us with another option for our hero section’s title.

While this is a good option, let’s see if we can enhance it with Divi AI. ClickÂ Improve with AI from the Divi AI modal box to do this. We’re presented with many options regarding what we can do with our new hero headline. Let’s click Change Tone and select the Casual tone from the list of options provided.

Our new hero headline now reads as follows:

When we compare both the titles, we see that this new version has a different, more welcoming feel than the first one, which felt stale and cookie-cutter. Now, let’s do this same process with the other titles on our page. To save our new copy, click the blue Use This Text button. Next, click the green checkmark Save button.

We’ll use the same casual tone for the rest of the titles on our page. For our next section, titled Our Services, we used Divi AI to add more context and vibrancy:

This section’s title is now “Get Ready to Explore Our Awesome Services!”

After updating all our titles, let’s move on to the page content.

Create Body Content

To create content with Divi AI, we will edit the text within the various Text Modules of our page. We will also use Divi AI’s powerful context feature to ensure our text can build upon other modules as we use AI to generate it. We’ll start with the sentences under our new page title. Click on the gear icon of the Text Module within the hero section that is under the title.

Next, remove the current text that is within the Text Module. Finally, click the Divi AI icon toÂ provide the Write with AI option.

Now, we’re presented with several options that we can use to have AI create the content for our lead text:
1. Content Type: We’re letting Divi AI know that we’re creating a paragraph of text
2. What are you writing about?: We added our prompt, “Create a few sentences introducing an email marketing agency.”
3. Added Context: This page content will be used to advise Divi’s AI as to how to generate this paragraph text.
4. Tone of Voice: We want this lead text to be funny to match the casual tone that we have for our section titles
5. Must Use Keywords: SEO is an essential step of copywriting, so we added a long tail keyword that will help us with ranking in our city
After entering these in, click Generate text. Now, we’ll see the paragraph that Divi AI created for our home page:

While this is a great first draft, it’s a bit long. So, we’ll use Divi AI to improve this paragraph. First, we click Improve with AI. Then, we click Shorten.

Notice how Divi AI cut our paragraph down and made it more concise.

With our new intro paragraph in place, we save our work by clicking the blue Use This Text Button andÂ then the green check mark button to save our Text Module.

Use a similar process to update the various Text Modules throughout your pages. Divi AI has many quick actions that you can take to optimize your copy further.

7. Generate Images with Divi AI

Divi AI doesn’t just work with copy. It can also manipulate images! We’re going to update the icons that are used within the services section of our homepage. To begin, click on the gear icon of the first Image Module.

Next, click on the Divi AI icon. Next, click Generate with AI. This is where the fun begins!

We can now feed Divi AI with various prompts to create a stunning new image for our web page. We set the image style to photo. Divi AI has more than ten different image styles you can use. Next, we add an image description. You can also add a reference photo and set your image’s aspect ratio or specific pixel size. We left all of these as the default. Finally, we click Generate.

Divi AI will generate four options for us. Click the option that most resonates with you. If you’re unhappy with the choices, click the Generate More Like button. Once you’re satisfied, then, click the blue Use This Image. Finally, click the green checkmark button to input your new, AI-generated image.

Do this with the other image modules on your page and have fun with the various styles, sizes, and prompts that you can put together to create unique art pieces for your website.

8. Revising, Proofreading, and Improving Copy with Divi AI

How to Write a WordPress Blog Post With AI
Maintaining a blog on your WordPress site is essential for providing valuable content to your readers. Also, blog posts can help your site appear on search engine ranking pages (SERPs) when written well. In the past, those without good writing skills would have to hire someone to write their posts or, worse, not have a blog. Thanks to artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT and Divi AI, you can harness this new technology to help craft your posts for you. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to write a WordPress blog post with AI.

Let’s get started.

What is WordPress?

WordPress is a popular content management system (CMS) that is utilized on more than 43% of all websites on the internet. It started as a blog platform in the late 90s and has evolved into a website-building powerhouse used by freelancers, web agencies, and large corporations. There are two types of WordPress. .org and .com. While they are built by the same people, there are some differences. So everything is clear, we will be working in WordPress.org, which is self-hosted and comes with nearly unlimited customization options.

What is AI?

AI is the development of computers that use machine learning to achieve tasks that would normally require humans to do. AI can train these systems to generate images, text, video, music, and more. This type of AI is called generative AI, which involves intensive training between two systems, or generative adversarial networks (GANs), containing a discriminator and a generator. They work together to compare the generator’s output to the data the system was trained on. For example, during image generation, the generator presents output to the discriminator, which tries to determine if it’s real or fake. As training continues, the generator will be better at output, so the discriminator can’t tell the difference between the two.

Some of the more popular AI text and image generators like Divi AI, Jasper, Writesonic, and ChatGPT have many uses, including writing blog posts, creating realistic images, and more.

What is Divi AI?

Divi AI is the newest, most exciting product launch in recent memory. Based on Stable Diffusion and Open AI models, Divi AI can write content and generate images right inside the Visual Builder. That said, Divi AI is built a bit differently than other generative AI. How to Write a WordPress Blog Post With AI

With all of the AI technology available to WordPress users today, there are several ways to create a blog post using AI. However, for this post, we will concentrate on two routes. The first uses Divi AI, and the other uses ChatGPT and Midjourney.

Regardless of the method used, using the Gutenberg editor to create blog posts is recommended. The primary reason for this is that full site editing themes like Divi or Twenty Twenty-Three allow you to create templates to showcase your site’s content. We won’t go into detail about Gutenberg here, but this post outlines how to get around in the block editor. If you’re a Divi user already, you’ll be happy to know that we released improved compatibility with the block editor back in 2022 by introducing the Divi layout block. It allows you to use the Gutenberg editor and Divi Builder simultaneously, which will be needed to use Divi AI.

Creating a Template

Before creating your first post, you’ll need to learn how to create a template using Gutenberg or Divi. When your template is created, you can get down to business.

Step 1: Crafting the Blog Post Outline

We’ll outline the steps to create a blog outline using ChatGPT. While this step isn’t necessary, it will help you form your thoughts and give you a structure for AI to follow. If you haven’t already, sign up for an account with ChatGPT. Version 3.5 is free, but you must sign up for a paid plan for the more advanced version. For our post, we want to feature the dog-like qualities of Maine Coon cats, so we’ll use the following prompt: Create a blog post outline describing how Maine Coon cats are like dogs.

ChatGPT will get to work on creating an outline for our post:

Step 2: Create a New Post

To create a new post, log into your WordPress dashboard, then navigate to posts (1). Next, click the Add New button (2) to create your first post.

Next, we’ll need to add a title to our post (1). Let’s use the one generated with ChatGPT: The Canine Charm of Maine Coon Cats: Unveiling Their Dog-Like Traits.
If using Divi, click the default editor button (2) to load Gutenberg.

Step 3: Writing the Intro

With the post created, the first step is to add an intro paragraph.

Using ChatGPT

Creating an introductory paragraph is simple using ChatGPT. Head back to the interface and write the prompt: Create an introductory paragraph using the outline above. Keep it under 300 words, briefly touch on the points in the outline, and give it a human tone of voice.

Now, you can do one of two things here. You can copy and paste the generated paragraph or use it to aid you in creating original content. Because we want to keep things ethical, we’ll change the introductory paragraph by using the generated output merely as a guide.

Paste the output into the default editor by adding a paragraph block. To do this, click the + icon (1) in the page builder or navigate to the list view (2) to add a paragraph block there.

Using Divi Within Gutenberg

We’ll need to set things up differently if using Divi. We’ll use Divi to create our post rather than adding a paragraph block to add content. The initial process is the same, except for the block. Click the + icon (1), then search for and add the Divi Layout block (2).

Next, click the Build New Layout button.

To create our new layout, we’ll build it from scratch. Click the Start Building button to continue.

Choose the single column row.

Select a text module to create AI-generated text.

Getting Familiar With the Divi AI Interface

Generating text with Divi AI is a snap. To start, click the Generate Content with AI button (1) or hover over the placeholder text to reveal the AI icon (2). You’ll have two options: Write with AI (3) or Write Automatically (4). Choosing the automatic option will generate text automatically. This is an excellent feature for posts and pages with content you want to expand on. For this case, however, we’ll choose to write with AI. This will allow us to give Divi some context.

You’ll notice a new dialog box with a few features when your screen refreshes. Let’s briefly explain what each setting does:
1. Content Type: This allows you to generate a paragraph, title, button, blog post, or social media post.
2. What are you writing about: Use this to give Divi a starting point for your text.
3. Added Context:Â If you’ve started creating your post already, you can use this to give Divi context. Options include this page content, this section content, this module content, or no context.
4. Tone of Voice: Choose the writing style you prefer from the available options: creative, informative, and funny.
5. Must use keywords: Add important keywords to your text.
6. Content length: Specify how many words, sentences, characters, paragraphs, or list items you require.
7. Language: Here, you can specify the language. You can either use the language of your prompt or choose from over 130 supported languages.
8. Generate Text: Generate text with Divi AI.

To generate our first paragraph, we’ll choose the following options:
1. Content type: Paragraph
2. What are you writing about: Write an introductory paragraph about how Maine Coon cats have dog-like qualities
3. Added Context: No context
4. Tone of Voice: Creative
5. Must use keywords: Maine Coon, dog-like
6. Content length: Exactly 200 words
7. Language: Language of prompt
With the settings in place, click the generate button to produce the text. Divi will create the text based on your prompt. If you are satisfied with the results, click the Use this text button (1). Alternatively, if you want to make changes, you can modify the output by clicking retry (2) or by selecting the improve with AI dropdown menu (3). You can make it better, rephrase, lengthen, shorten, simplify, paraphrase, or modify it by changing the tone of voice, amongst other options. If you’d like to refine it, you can add more details in refine result (4) text field, then click regenerate (5).

Step 4: Creating Blog Post Images

The next step is to create an image for our post. After all, blog posts are better with supporting photos. They provide visual aids, keep your readers engaged, and serve as a way to boost your site’s search engine optimization (SEO) using alt tags.

We’ll showcase two ways to generate images for your WordPress blog post: Midjourney and Divi AI.

Using Midjourney

Midjourney hit the scene earlier this year and has become one of the most popular platforms for creating images. We won’t go into the steps to use it here, as we have an in-depth tutorial already created for you. Midjourney generates some of the most incredible AI art you’ll find. However, we should caution you on using it commercially. Due to ongoing litigation, its future is unclear. That said, generating images with it is likely ok if you are a paid subscriber. This post concentrates on the second method, Divi AI.

Using Divi AI

Another (and better) way to create images for your blog posts is by using Divi AI’s built-in image generation tool. It functions like the AI text generator, where you can create, refine, and use pictures within your posts or pages. Unlike other AI image generators, there’s no need to use a separate platform. With Divi AI, you get the power of Stable Diffusion right in the Visual Builder. To create an image using Divi AI, add an image module to your post.

To activate AI, hover over the placeholder image in the module to reveal the AI icon.

Upon clicking the icon, you’ll have two options: Generate with AI or Generate Automatically. Select the first option.

Divi AI Image Settings

Before generating an image, let’s go over the settings so you’ll understand how things work. We won’t go over everything related to generating images, like prompting tips, but we will show you the basics.
1. Image style: Choose from 13 style presets, including photo, digital painting, vector art, and more.
2. Image description: The text prompt field you’ll use to describe your desired image.
3. Reference image: If you have an image in mind that isn’t quite what you need, you can use it as a reference image to assist Divi AI in creating the perfect one.
4. Aspect ratio: You can choose from square (1:1), Landscape (8:5), portrait (3:4), or a custom size.
5. Size: The pixels (width x height) for your image.
6. Generate: Generates an image based on the settings above.
Generate an Image Using Divi AI

Now that you know the interface, we can generate our first image. Since our blog post is about Maine Coon cats, we’ll generate an image that can be used in our post that we can also apply as our featured image. With the AI image dialog box opens, input the following settings:
- Image style: Photo
- Image description: photograph of a brown sortie Maine Coon cat, lying on a sofa, looking out the window, award winning photography, soft shadows, midday lighting, cinematic photography
- Reference image: none
- Aspect ratio: Landscape (8:5)
- Size: 1280 x 800
With the settings in place, click the generate button to generate your photo.

When the process completes, Divi will provide four images for you. To choose one, click on your favorite (1), then click Use this image (2). Alternatively, you can generate more like it (3), generate four more (4), change the style (5), or add a completely new description (6) to regenerate it (7).

Once you select a photo to use, Divi will automatically place it into your image module. From there, you can upscale it to make it a higher quality image by clicking the AI icon again and selecting upscale in the settings.

Step 5: Writing the Post Content

Now that we’ve generated our title, introductory paragraph, and featured image, let’s walk through the steps needed to create the body copy.

Using ChatGPT

To create the body of your blog post using ChatGPT, you’ll repeat the steps outlined above. Head back over to ChatGPT, then instruct it to complete the body of the post. You can do this by entering the following prompt: Based on the outline above, create the post content minus the conclusion. Make it no longer than 1500 words, and use the same tone of voice in the introductory paragraph.

ChatGPT will proceed in creating the body copy for your post. As previously stated, you should use this text as a guide rather than simply copying and pasting it into your post. There are several reasons for this. First, ChatGPT has been known to suffer from hallucinations or falsehoods. Therefore, you should always fact-check everything it gives you. Secondly, Google is getting better at recognizing AI-generated content. This is a grey area since the technology is so new, but some indications using generated content without a human touch could hurt you in the SERPs.

Additionally, there will obviously be plagiarism concerns, especially since ChatGPT was training on information pulled directly from the internet. Lastly, generated content generally needs more creativity and personality. Therefore, we recommend taking what it gives you as a guide to overcoming writer’s block or for inspiration in more creative writing.

Using Divi AI

Now that Divi AI has a bit of context, we can proceed one of two ways: use Divi AI to create the entire post or generate a few paragraphs at a time. The method you choose depends on whether you plan on making more images. If you only plan to have one image in your post, Divi can create your entire post for you. However, if you want to create additional supporting photos, you’ll need to create a few paragraphs at a time. To generate your entire post, activate Divi AI by adding a new text module and clicking the AI icon again. Choose blog post from the dropdown menu when the dialog box appears.

In the What are you writing about text field, head back to ChatGPT to copy the blog outline we created in step 1, then paste it into the field. Be sure to omit the intro section.

Click guide me (1) to reveal the additional settings. Be sure to add your tone of voice (2), must use keywords (3), specify the number of words to generate (4), select the language (5), then generate your post (6).

Tip: When generating content with Divi AI, add headlines for your important paragraphs. Also, use Divi AI’s word settings to keep paragraphs under 300 words. By doing this, you’ll achieve a higher SEO score with your chosen SEO plugin.

Step 6: Writing the Conclusion

Writing the conclusion paragraph is the last step in creating your first post. If using ChatGPT, all you have to do is provide it a prompt to complete the post. For example, give it the following: Based on the outline above, write a conclusion paragraph in the same writing style.

Write Conclusion with Divi AI

To create our conclusion paragraph, we’ll take a slightly different approach. Instead of leaving the context blank, for this last paragraph, we’ll have Divi write a conclusion based on the content of our post. To do this, add a new text module, then fill in the following settings:
1. Content type: Paragraph
2. What are you writing about: Summarize the various ways in which Maine Coon cats exhibit dog-like traits.
3. Added context: this page content
4. Tone of voice: Creative
5. Must use keywords: Maine Coon cats
6. Content length: About 250 words
7. Language: Language of prompt
That’s it! You’ve successfully created a well-written blog post with Divi AI.

Great! Now that your environment is set up and ready to go, let’s get to work!

How To Write A Blog Post With Divi AI

For our example, we’ll a blog post for a Digital Marketing Agency. To start, we’ll be using the free Digital Marketing Divi Layout Pack and the accompanying blog post Theme Builder template that goes with it.

Step One: Add a New Post

The first step is to navigate to your WordPress dashboard and add a new post. Hover over “Posts” in the lefthand sidebar and click “Add New” to add a new post.

Give your blog post a title and click “Use Divi Builder.” This will reload your blog post on the front end so you can use the Divi Builder and Divi AI as you’re writing your blog post.

As your page reloads, you’ll see three options popup: Build from Scratch, Choose a Premade Layout, or Clone Existing Page. Select “Build From Scratch.”

Next, we need to add a row. Click on the green “+” button to load the row options.

Let’s add one full-width row by clicking on it.

Next, click the grey “+” icon to load the module library. Scroll to “Text” and click it to load the text module.

By default, Divi modules load with demo content. There are two ways to generate text content with Divi AI in the Text module: by clicking the blue button at the top or by clicking the Divi AI icon in the text editor area.

Let’s select the AI icon on the text editor to configure some settings before auto-generating text. Once clicked, select “Write With AI.”

Once clicked, the AI window appears with all the settings and configurations available for Divi AI generation.

First, we’ll set the Content Type to Blog Post.

In the What are you writing about? section is where you type in a prompt for the blog post you want to write.

You can also use Divi AI to generate a prompt for you based on the content on the page! To do so, click the Divi AI icon in the text area.

Here, let’s select the context in which Divi AI should write the blog post. Since we have the blog post title added to the page, let’s select “This Page Content” so that Divi AI writes a blog post on the topic of the blog post title.

To customize your AI-generated results further, click “Guide Me” to load more Divi AI options.

The first option is the tone of voice. Let’s select “informative.”

We can even tell Divi AI what keywords we want in the blog post. Let’s type in “social media strategies.”

Next, we can adjust the length of the content by selecting from several options.

We’ll set it to about five list items using the dropdowns in this section.

Lastly, Divi AI can write the blog post in any language you choose. By default, Divi AI writes in the language of the prompt.

Now that we’ve set our prompt click “Generate Text” to see the results!

On the next screen, you’ll see the results.

However, we’re not done yet! Divi AI can also help you refine, lengthen, and simplify the results until you have the blog post of your dreams.

Tips For Writing Divi AI-Generated Blog Posts

Now that we have a page to translate, we will start with the page title and excerpt. Click on page settings. In the Title field, find the Divi AI button. From there, select “Translate” and then choose your language.

Divi AI will take a couple of seconds to translate your content. Click “Use This Text” to swap out the English text for the newly translated text.

Select any generated image and click “Use This Image” to load it into your Divi module. In our example, we created used the existing image plus a simple prompt to get something that was closer to what we wanted. In this case, it’s a similar image with different colors to match the other image in the section a little better.

3. Use Divi AI for Writer’s Block

Divi AI is contextually aware of every connected site’s general information and the current page’s content. This awareness allows it to create content without using typed-out prompts.

If you have a page that’s short on content and are unsure what to do next, use Divi AI for suggestions.

All you have to do is add a module to your page (even if you don’t have a complete idea for it yet). In this case, we added a “CTA Module” that has room for a title, body, and button text. Clicking “Auto Generate Text With AI” will get the gears turning where Divi AI will consider the available context to create content in the module.

Sometimes we make mistakes in our writing. Maybe we’re writing in our second language, hurriedly publishing an important update, or have old, bad habits (like me not being able to spell “ambulance” without using spell check).

For just these reasons, the next creative Divi AI use case is for AI text correction and editing. Open any Divi module that has existing text, click the AI icon, and select “Fix Spelling & Grammar.” This will run that content through the mind of a meticulous AI copy editor and fix all the major issues.

You can see what it came up with in the Divi AI modal. If you like it as-is, then select “Use This Text.” No worries if it still needs workâ€”you have unlimited AI word generation. You can use the “Refine Result” by adding a specific prompt or command. You can also use a quick action with the “Retry” option and select what you want Divi AI to do to the text by using the drop-down.

This is a fast way to create FAQs which are so important for modern SEO. Divi AI can rapidly answer tons of questions for your customers and help them find what they need to know.

6. Create Perfectly Sized Images

To generate a custom-sized image, hover over the image box and click the Divi AI icon. Then, select Generate Image.

7. Enrich Any Content with Relevant Keywords

Adding keywords to your copy sometimes comes naturally, but sometimes it does not. When inspiration strikes, you just have to write it all down, no matter if what you are writing is perfectly optimized for SEO. That’s where Divi AI can come in and help you enrich previously written content with your ideal keywords.

To do this, open up a Divi module with some text. Click the “AI” icon and then select “Improve With AI.”

Now it’s time to get into the fun stuff! Today we’re going to transform a premade Divi layout using Divi AI. First, we’ll need to select our layout.

Add a Divi Layout to Your Page

A great way to use the power of Divi AI is by transforming premade layout packs. Every week the designers here at Elegant Themes release custom-designed pre-made layout packs that are completely free to use. Layout packs are a great way to get started designing your website, and Divi AI can help you quickly customize the content so that it’s unique to you or your business. For more, here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to add a premade layout to your page.

For our purposes, we’ll be using the Coaching Layout Pack. To add a premade layout to your page, expand the Divi toolbar and click the purple + icon to load the Divi Library.

Type “coaching” into the search bar and select the Services page layout.

Select “Use This Layout” to load it to your page.

Now that we have a premade layout added to our page let’s explore the ways you can transform it using Divi AI!

How to Add Copy to Your Divi Layouts with Divi AI

Divi premade layout packs come with placeholder content. Using Divi AI, you can add text modules and ask Divi AI to generate fresh copywriting based on the context of the content on the rest of your page. Since layout packs are each based on a specific theme, Divi AI will then generate unique copy based on that theme’s page content.

How to Generate New Copy Automatically

Let’s generate some short descriptions for the services section of this page. We’ll start with the One on One service.

Access the module settings by hovering over the module and clicking the gear icon.

To auto-generate text, click the “Auto Generate Text With AI” blue button. Because this is a Blurb module, Divi AI will also automatically generate an image to go with it in case you decide to use an image instead of an icon.

Next, the AI-generated results will pop up. Since we’re editing a blurb module, Divi AI will generate a piece of content for each section in the blurb module. If you like the generated text, then click the blue “Use This Text” button. Or, you can choose to modify the text further by clicking the dropdown and selecting the action you want AI to take. You can also refine your result by writing further instructions in the Refine Result input field.

And here is the final result! Divi AI was able to automatically generate contextual content based on the rest of the page content. Pretty neat, right?!

How to Create New Copy Using the Divi AI Text Generator

There’s also another way to generate copy with Divi AI: by providing prompts. Let’s try this method with the Couple Therapy blurb module.

Open up the module settings and hover over the body text area. You’ll see an AI icon popup in the textarea box.

Next, click “Write With AI”.

Up will pop the prompt window where you can select the Content Type, write your prompt, tell Divi AI what context to consider, and further customization options like the tone of voice, keywords, content length, and language.

Content Type

Tell Divi AI what type of content you want it to write: Paragraph, Title, Button, Blog Post, or Social Media Post. For our example, we’ll select Paragraph.

What are you writing about?

Here you can type in the topic you are writing about and what you want Divi AI to create content for.

Added Context

Tell Divi AI what context (or no context) it should write in: This Page Content, This Section Content, This Module Content, No Context. By specifying what content you want Divi to reference, you’ll have more control over your contextual content. Let’s select “This Page Content.”

Tone of Voice

Choose the tone of voice you want Divi AI to use. Options include, Creative, Informative or Funny.

Must Use Keywords

For SEO purposes, here you can tell Divi AI what keywords you want to be included in the text.

Content Length

Here you can tell Divi AI how long or short you want the content to be.

Language

By default, Divi AI will write content in the same language as the prompt it’s given. However, if you’d like Divi AI to write in another language, you can select one from the dropdown here.

Click “Generate Text”

Once your settings are configured how you like, click the “Generate Text” button at the bottom to put Divi AI to work!

If you are happy with the generated text, you can click the “Use This Text” button to insert the text into the module. However, you can further customize the AI-generated text in the “Modify With AI” section. You shorten or length the text, check the spelling and grammar, rewrite it for experts or beginners, and so much more. You can also give more direction to the AI generator by typing in the “Refine Result” section and then clicking the “Regenerate” button.

In addition to all these options for customizing and refining the AI-generated text, you can go back to your initial prompt by clicking the white back arrow at the top left of the window that says “Content Results”. There, you can refine your settings and generate new text.

Once you generate another result, you’ll see an option to toggle between those results right underneath the AI-generated text. That way, you can compare and contrast your results and select the text you like the best and assemble it together for your own unique paragraph.

Rewrite and Revise Copy

Rewriting and revising copy with Divi AI is very similar. To do so, we’ll navigate to a text module that has existing content. Open up the module’s settings to edit the content.

There are two ways you can access the AI options. First, by clicking the blue “Auto Generate Text With AI” blue button at the top, or second, by clicking the AI icon within the text editor.

If you’d like Divi AI to auto-generate revised text, then click the blue button. You can further customize the results in the Content Results window using the options and settings explained above.

To use the Improve With AI feature, copy the existing text, click the Divi AI icon, and then select “Improve With AI.”

Paste the text into the editor, configure the style and settings you want to use, and then click “Generate Text.”

Generate Custom Images

No more spending hours on stock image sites to find the perfect image for your design. With Divi AI, you can generate custom images unique to your website! Here’s how you can generate a custom image using Divi AI and the Image Module.

First, open up the image module settings and hover over the image to see the AI icon. Click it to load the AI options: Generate With AI, Improve With AI, or choose from Quick Options like Generate & Replace, Reimagine, or Change Style. Let’s select “Generate With AI.”

The first option is to select the style of image you want to generate.

There are a variety of styles to choose from. You can create an image that is photographic, like a digital painting, concept art, a vector graphic, 3D renders, drawings, abstract art, comic book, watercolor, painting, anime, or cartoon.

Next, write a descriptive prompt of the image you want to generate. You can even use AI to help generate a prompt by clicking the AI Icon in the text area.

You can even upload a reference image to provide more context; however, this is optional. If you do use a reference photo, you can set the influence of the image by percentage. The less influence you assign the photo, the more influence your written prompt will have.

If you don’t upload a reference photo, you’ll have the option to choose the aspect ratio of the generated image: Square, Landscape, Portrait, or Custom Size.

You can even set the size (width and height) of the image.

Once the fields are filled out, click the “Generate Image” button and let the AI magic do its work!

On the next screen, you’ll see four generated images. If there is an image you like and want to use in your page design, click on the image and select “Use This Image.” You can also save the image to your media library by hovering over the image and clicking the downward arrow icon in the top right corner of the image. That way, you can save alternate image versions for future use!

If you’d like to continue refining your images, you can do so in several ways. First, you can select a generated image and ask AI to generate more images like that one.

In the Modify Selected Image area, you can even change the image type to another format, like a painting or vector image.

If you want to refine your prompt, you can do so in the New Description area. Type in your new prompt and hit regenerate to generate new images.

Once you have the image you want, click the “Use This Image” button to insert the image into your content!

Pro Tip: How to Create New Images that Match the Style of Your Premade Layout

If you like the current style and feel of your current layout, adding new images might throw off the entire design. With Divi AI, you can replace the existing images on your premade layout and keep the original style and feel of the original image.

For example, here is a screenshot of our Bake Shop premade layout.

Let’s say we wanted to use this layout to create a website for a coffee shop. We could replace these pretzel images with coffee-related images that have a similar style and color.

To do this, simply select and use one of the existing images as a reference image. Then add a short description, like “cup of coffee,” and bring the reference image influence dial down to 20%. Then generate a new image.

Repeat the process for the rest of the images on the page. Adjust the copy using AI as needed. And you have a new website with a similar style as the premade layout.

How To Use Divi AI to Improve Your Copy

To demonstrate how powerful Divi AI is, we will show you all that Divi can do to improve your website’s copy. The process is simple, so building a new website or modifying an existing one is a snap.

Step 1: Enable Visual Builder

The best way to utilize Divi’s powerful AI features is through Divi’s no-code Visual Builder. This way, you can work on your page’s design in real time. To make things easier, we’re going to use the Horse Riding Layout Pack for Divi to improve copy with Divi AI. That said, you can follow along with your own content.

Start by clicking the Enable Visual Builder button at the top middle of your screen.

If you’re new to Divi, we offer an extensive yet easy-to-follow tutorial that will get you up to speed with Divi’s Visual Builder.

Step 2: Edit Existing Text Module

With the Visual Builder active, scroll down to the text module in the hero section that contains lorem ipsum text. Hover over the module with your mouse until the settings appear.

Alternatively, you can right-click anywhere on the page to bring up the layers view by clicking go to layer. It easily allows you to select sections, rows, or modules to edit them.

To edit a text module, click the grey settings icon while hovering over it.

Step 3: Auto Generating Text with Divi AI

With your text module active, you’ll notice a new button: Auto Generate Text with AI. Go ahead and click that to generate some new copy for your text module.

Divi AI will generate new copy for the text module based on your layout. In our case, Divi recognized that our page is related to horses and correctly generated copy to support the layout:

Once the copy is generated, you can choose to use the text by clicking the corresponding button in the Visual Builder.

Divi AI will replace the placeholder text with the newly generated copy.

Step 4: Improving Copy with Divi AI

With new text generated, you can take steps to improve it. With your text module still active, hover inside the text area and click the Divi AI Options icon to reveal the text options available.

Next, click Improve with AI.

A new dialog box will appear with a few settings to be aware of:
1. Content type: Choose between a paragraph, title, button, blog post, or social media post.
2. What are you writing about: Give Divi AI information about the type of content you want to generate.
3. Added Context: Choose from this page content, this section content, this module content, or no context.
4. Guide me: This dropdown allows you to add more specifics, such as tone of voice, keywords, and content length, and lets you choose from over 130 languages.
5. Generate text: Press to improve the content in your text module.
We’ll add the following settings:
1. Content Settings: paragraph
2. What are you writing about: Explain the Divi Equestrian Center
3. Added context: This page content
4. Tone of Voice: Informative
5. Must use Keywords: equestrian center
6. Content length: about 150 words
7. Language: language of website
With these settings in place, click the Generate Text button.

Divi AI will work its magic and create a new paragraph based on those settings. Once text generation is complete, you can view both the original and newly generated text. If you are happy with the results, click the use this text button (1). However, if you want to run the prompt again, click the retry button (2). If you like the new copy but want to make improvements to it, click the improve with AI dropdown menu (3). This setting allows you to:
- make it better
- rephrase
- lengthen
- shorten
- simplify
- paraphrase
- fix spelling and grammar
- rewrite for experts or beginners
- Translate to one of more than 130 languages
- change the tone
- Make it more detailed, descriptive, engaging, actionable, or generic
Furthermore, you can add a text prompt to refine your results (4). Once all of your chosen settings are in place, click the regenerate button (5) to refine your text.

Now that you’re comfortable with the settings used to improve copy with Divi AI, we will show you a few real-world examples of Divi AI in action using various prompts.
